RIG's agriculture-biotechnology company Arbiom, who  are developing alternative solutions to protein, conducted a study evaluating their alternative protein product SylPro®. It was found that cats preferred SylPro® over food with conventional protein, both initially and over time, with SylPro based food remaining their preferred food choice. Foods containing SylPro also exhibited excellent protein digestibility; the high palatability of SylPro proves that it has good market potential in pet food.
