Bilal Alim

 Engagement Manager

Bilal joined RIG in 2024 and is a member of the Energy Efficiency practice, where he primarily works to accelerate the adoption of technologies to address the 66% of primary energy that is lost to inefficiency.

Bilal was previously a consultant at EY, where he worked on the energy transition and transformation projects in the nuclear industry. His professional interests are in distributed energy, agtech and renewable infrastructure financing. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a First Class in Geography, where he focused on  complex systems and environmental governance.

Outside of work, he enjoys grappling with Arabic grammar and building watches.
