Rapid Innovation Group partners with nanotech company to commercialise their air quality business

Rapid Innovation Group has started an engagement with an English company that has developed nanotechnology instruments that can detect and monitor aerosol nanoparticles with unprecedented levels of sensitivity.

The technology has applications in multiple areas, including healthcare and security, and the Rapid Innovation team will be working to build out a network of global partners for their air quality business. The rise in global emissions and the associated adverse health effects – such as the 500% increase in respiratory illness and allergies currently observed in the UK – has meant that the need for an easily-deployable technology that is sensitive to particles in the micro range has risen commensurately.
